Frequency Asked Questions

You can make an appointment either by calling us at (305) 262-4604, or using our easy to fill out online appointment form.

Yes. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out any remaining patient forms.

The first thing that any new patient can expect is a warm welcome from our team. Next, you’ll be asked to complete a new patient form. This will include your dental and medical history which is necessary for the dentist to treat your specific needs.
During your appointment, our dentist will conduct a comprehensive examination to determine the current state of your oral health, diagnose any current or potential dental problems, and plan treatment options for you. The dentist will discuss these with you, so that you can make an informed decision about your oral health. X-rays may be taken to help diagnose problems that may exist under the surface of your teeth.
Finally, if any extra treatment is needed we will schedule another appointment with you. It really is that simple!

Please be sure to request a prescription prior to your appointment, or if you are unsure, contact us and we can help.

We work hard to maintain affordable fees and conveniently accept several forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, debit cards, personal checks, and money orders.

We would like to know as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours before, so that we can re-issue that appointment time to another patient.

X-rays allow the dentist to detect problems in areas not visible during visual examination, for example a cavity under an existing filling.

We generally advise that patients need to see their dentist at least twice a year.

At Blanco Jamis Dental Group we accept most dental insurance plans. Our team will assist you in determining whether your dental treatment costs are covered. If your treatment is covered by your insurance, we will help you file your claim.

Yes. Please feel free to call ahead if you would like us to make special arrangements for you or your family member.
